Vision Warmly Welcomes the All Faith Center, July 24

Reverends Abigail and Dr. Stephen Albert have found a new location for The All Faith Center’s monthly Interfaith Services at VISION, A Center for Spiritual Living. The 2pm service in their new location on July 24 will feature Rev. Christian Sorensen, Senior Minister of Seaside Center for Spiritual Living and Dave Myers, President, Church of Scientology of San Diego as Guest Speakers. Their topic is “Can I Be Rich AND Spiritual: Do Faiths Have Secrets to Attract Prosperity?”

“Christmas in July” Event Supports Families

Vision, a Center for Spiritual Living is once again dedicating itself to filling the dire midyear needs of the San Diego Food Bank and Rady’s Children Hospital. The majority of charitable donations for these organizations comes during the Holiday Season and then drops off drastically. To help fill that void, VISION is sponsoring a month-long Christmas celebration and will be accepting nonperishable food donations for the Food Bank and new teddy bears for patients of Rady’s. The Spiritual Center will also accept checks of which 100 % will go to the designated of the two charities. You can drop off your donation any Sunday morning (9am-1pm) or any Wednesday evening (6-9pm).

New Film Discover the Gift Premieres

For sister and brother team Shajen Joy Aziz and Demian Lichtenstein, something was missing in their lives until they tapped into the power of their own unique gifts, leading to profound personal transformations. Master Yogis Offer Advanced Teacher Training

The Soul Center hosts a one-of-a kind opportunity to study directly and intimately with some the most highly acclaimed teachers today. The diverse 300-hour Sundara Curriculum starts September 2011 and ends June 2012. The Sundara 300 is designed for yoga teachers who have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training and wish to pursue a 500-hour Yoga Alliance Certification. Each 10 Day module offers a specific focus which provides a broad array and deep understanding of the valuable teaching and healing resources yoga offers for every individual.

Children in Need of Voices

Nearly 300 children are waiting for your help right now. Become a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and make a lasting difference in the life of a foster child. Much more than a mentor, our volunteers advocate for children in court and give their recommendations to the judge. Become a CASA and speak for children who cannot speak for themselves.
