Tessa Cason of Soft Winds Spiritual Learning Center
TLC — Congratulations on opening Soft Winds Spiritual Learning Center.
Tessa Cason — Thank you. We had our Grand Opening January 14.
What motivated you to open a Spiritual Learning Center?
One, I wanted to create a space that felt like “home” to other spiritual individuals and secondly, to empower others by providing them the opportunity to learn (possibly) new skills that would help them manage and improve their lives.
In the Center’s Mission Statement you mention “adding value to an individual’s life by providing a fun and safe environment to learn and refine new skills.” Tell us something about the skills you teach.
The Center began with offering three classes. EFT, Develop Your Intuition, and Muscle- Testing. This month we are beginning eight new classes. EFT and Abundance. EFT and Weight/Emotional Eating. EFT and the Map of Consciousness. EFT and Cancer. Intro to EFT. Advanced Develop Your Intuition. Advanced Muscle-Testing. How to Use a Pendulum.
Are you teaching all the classes?
At this time, yes. The “Teacher” is definitely one of my primary archetypes. I started teaching swimming when I was 12 years old and have been teaching ever since.
What is your background?
I have been a Life Coach, Intuitive Counselor, and EFT Practitioner for more than 15 years. As a Life Coach, it wasn’t enough to just assist a client in defining their goals and identifying step to accomplish them. I realized it was more important to look at the beliefs that prevented them from accomplishing their goals and then to delete the dysfunctional beliefs. I went searching for additional tools that would aid my clients. The most effective tool I found was EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique.
You have also written EFT Workbooks and Journals.
Yes. 43 Workbooks and Journals that cover 50 different topics.
What makes your Workbooks different from other EFT Books?
Everything in our lives is a direct result of our beliefs. Beliefs precede our thoughts and feelings, our choices and decisions, our actions and reactions. To change our lives we have to change a dysfunctional belief on a subconscious level. EFT allows us to do just that. Each Workbook has 300+ statements/dysfunctional beliefs that can be tapped out.
Talk about Biopulsar.
At the beginning and end of a session, I put my clients on the Biopulsar. The Biopulsar uses biofeedback technology to measure and analyze the energetic vitality of 45 different organs, glands, systems, and body parts in the physical body. It then translates this information into “color” and the “aura” can be viewed on a computer monitor.
What does the Biopulsar tell you?
From eastern philosophy we know that the body’s cells are programmed by different thoughts, emotions, and life experiences, that the organs possess a consciousness. For instance, the liver is associated with anger, the kidney with fear. Much can be learned emotionally by combining the significance of the body part with the significance of the color with the energetic level of the body part. For example, low energy in the stomach, is there some thing we are having difficulty stomaching?
How did you train to use the Biopulsar?
I have both my BS and MA in Physical Education. Classes in Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology were required. I owned a greeting card company in the ’80s and learned about colors and their significance. After having a natural gas leak in my home for 850 days, 2½ years, in an exchange for treatments, I managed a medical clinic in which I was able to talk to other patients about their illnesses and the emotional components to their illness. Now, I utilize all that I have learned over the years.
Do you put others on the machine besides clients?
Yes. Anyone wanting a free printout and interpretation of their aura can do so before or after any class.
What’s on the horizon for you and the Center?
I will continue to do sessions both in person and on the phone. Additional classes for the Center include Identifying Your Goals and Making Dream Boards. Cashflow 101. And having other instructors teach classes in their areas of expertise.
