Internationally known Rev. Dr. Jeremy Taylor comes to San Diego to give a “Dream Workshop” at First Unitarian Universalist Church, 4190 Front St., on Friday & Saturday March 4 & 5 with local dream worker Rev. Bonnie Tarwater. The recent movie “Inception” and the publication of Carl Jung’s “Red Book” both indicate an increasing interest in the healing power of dream interpretation. Their booth includes videos highlighting the powerful information from The Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium to be held May 14.

The mission of the Awakening the Dreamer is to bring forth an environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially just human presence on this planet. The Unity Center will again host the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium on May 14 – members of the Empowerment team will be available to register people for this event.
People of all faiths can join the Energy Star for Congregations program sponsored by SDG&E. Video and websites address the “green” use of water and lists of transportation resources and how to use them will be provided. Also provided, little unknown facts about how to manage garbage and waste management resources. The Folkey Monkey Concert Series hosted by San Diego guitar virtuoso and songwriter, Joe Rathburn, features the soulful, heartfelt harmonies of internationally acclaimed, multi-platinum songwriter, Harold Payne for its April 20 concert which begins at 7:00 PM. Improve physical health, increase emotional balance and deepen spiritual understanding at a four-day Emei Qigong Level I seminar to be held April 30 to May 3 in San Diego. Emei Qigong brings energetic harmony into life. Its techniques have been passed down through an unbroken monastic lineage for nearly 800 years and only recently made available to the general public. Grandmaster Fu Wei Zhong, the school’s 13th lineage holder will teach this seminar.

A concert featuring “Gino,” the Diva of Spirit, will be on Saturday, April 30, 7pm. Gino Walker, born in St. Louis, gathered her musical influences from blues, jazz and gospel.
